Li Yunfei, General Manager of the Brand and Public Relations Department at BYD Group, has once again addressed the issue of black PR and internet trolls.
Li Yunfei stated that BYD never disparages competitors, but many peers engage in actions specifically targeted at others, which ultimately manifests in data related to black PR campaigns.
"Chairman Wang (Chuanfu) said last Friday (December 5th) that as an industry leader, BYD must endure grievances; if others bully us, we just have to bear it," he said.
He further pointed out, "We are the ones attracting attention due to our size; our sales volume is massive. We are the biggest victim of black PR and trolls in this industry, bar none—that is a fact. Because every day, our colleagues and we ourselves see many utterly baseless attacks."
"However, if it involves long-term targeting of BYD—not just once or twice, but sustained attacks—defaming, insulting, and damaging our brand with false information, we cannot accept that," Li Yunfei emphasized.
