Zhiyuan Robotics Executive Claims Lead Over Tesla in Robot Mass Production

At the APC2026 Zhiyuan Partners Conference held today, Peng Zhihui, Co-founder, President, and CTO of Zhiyuan Robotics, stated that the robotics industry has entered the phase of large-scale mass production.

He referenced Tesla Motors, noting that the company is currently placing significant emphasis on scaling up production and has recently halted portions of its automotive production lines to dedicate resources to manufacturing its own robots.

"Of course, compared to Zhiyuan's current progress, Tesla Motors is still somewhat behind. For the next half year, we can still enjoy the pleasure of being in the lead," Peng Zhihui commented.
