According to a Beijing report on October 10th, China's State Administration for Market Regulation has launched an investigation into Qualcomm for allegedly violating the Anti-monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China. The investigation stems from Qualcomm's failure to legally report business concentration in its acquisition of Autotalks company. Qualcomm shares declined in pre-market US trading, falling nearly 5%.
