AGTECH HOLDINGS (08279) announced that on December 12, 2025, the company entered into a framework agreement with Alipay (Hangzhou). Under the agreement, both parties may independently or through their respective subsidiaries and/or affiliates execute specific implementation agreements for the provision of Alipay's "Touch & Pay" service by AGTECH to Alipay (Hangzhou). The agreement is effective until March 31, 2027.

The board believes this collaboration will strengthen ties between AGTECH and Alipay (Hangzhou), leveraging Alipay's extensive ecosystem and technical expertise to accelerate the rollout of "Touch & Pay" payment devices and contactless payment solutions in mainland China and Macau. The "Touch & Pay" devices enable consumers to complete transactions with a simple smartphone tap, eliminating the need for QR code scanning. These devices also support "Tap-to-Order" services.

By actively promoting these payment solutions, AGTECH expects to generate service fee revenue from the partnership while reinforcing its strategic market position through advanced payment technology. The board further noted that this cooperation will enhance payment convenience for end-users, solidify AGTECH's presence in digital payments, and align with growing market demand for efficient, seamless, and contactless payment solutions.
