US Markets Open Higher, Palantir Technologies Soars 4.24%, Micron Technology Plunges 14.34%

The electric vehicle sector increased by 2.65%, with Tesla Motors up 2.90% and NIO Inc. up 1.67%.

Apple saw a slight decline of 0.05%. The company is in early discussions with Tencent and ByteDance to integrate their AI models into iPhones sold in China. Additionally, Warren Buffett plans to exit his investment in Apple by 2025.

NVIDIA rose by 2.14%. The company, in collaboration with Intel, announced the release of the Verifiable Compute AI framework, a significant advancement in AI security and trust.

Amazon.com increased by 1.99%. The company faces a significant strike by the Teamsters union, demanding better wages and working conditions. Despite this, Amazon's advancements in AI with its Trainium3 chips and Project Rainier supercomputer position it as a major AI compute leader.

Tesla Motors rebounded by 2.90% after a sharp drop on Wednesday. The company is in early discussions with the city of Austin, Texas, regarding the deployment of its autonomous vehicle technology.

Palantir Technologies Inc. surged by 4.24% after UBS announced a price target of $80.00 per share.

Micron Technology plummeted by 14.34% following a weak outlook for its current quarter, despite reporting better-than-expected earnings for the fiscal first quarter.
