White House says US officials deny the US has agreed to unfreeze Iranian assets.
Reuters prior reported that U.S. has agreed to release Iran's frozen assets “held in Qatar and other foreign banks'. Asset unfreeze is also 'directly linked to ensuring safe passage through Strait of Hormuz' ahead of any durable peace agreement.
