On Thursday, shares of companies tied to the cryptocurrency sector moved lower. Circle Internet Corp. (CRCL.US) dropped more than 6%, while Strategy (MSTR.US) and BitMine Immersion Technologies Inc. (BMNR.US) each fell over 3%. Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN.US) declined more than 1%. The downturn coincided with a more than 2% drop in Bitcoin, which fell below the $80,000 mark. Ethereum also saw a decrease of nearly 3%, slipping below $2,300.
