A notice has been issued regarding an upcoming adjustment to fuel surcharges on domestic flights, with the new rates set to take effect on November 5, 2026.
According to information gathered from multiple airlines, the fuel surcharge standards for domestic passenger air travel will be revised as of that date. For flight segments of 800 kilometers or less, each adult passenger will be charged 80 yuan, while for segments exceeding 800 kilometers, the charge will be 140 yuan. These figures represent increases of 30 yuan and 50 yuan respectively compared with the previous standards.
Details of the new fuel surcharge standards are as follows.
First, for domestic passenger flight segments of 800 kilometers or less, each passenger will be charged 80 yuan. For segments exceeding 800 kilometers, each passenger will be charged 140 yuan.
Second, infants who are entitled to a ticket priced at 10 percent of the standard adult fare for domestic civil aviation will be exempt from the fuel surcharge.
Third, for children entitled to a ticket priced at 50 percent of the standard adult fare, including unaccompanied minors, as well as revolutionary disabled soldiers, people's police disabled in the line of duty, and disabled fire and rescue personnel, the fuel surcharge will be 40 yuan per passenger for segments of 800 kilometers or less and 70 yuan per passenger for segments exceeding 800 kilometers.
