此次召回主要涉及的是从2020年5月27日至2022年5月24日生产的车辆。福特发言人Said Deep向媒体表示，福特在此期间共生产了10万辆Mach-E汽车。此次召回的问题是车辆的高压电池主接触器可能会出现过热的现象，进而导致车辆在行驶过程中无法启动或立即失去动力。
