President Trump appeared to confirm reports he will outline a U.K. trade agreement Thursday, after teasing news of a deal a day earlier.

"This should be a very big and exciting day for the United States of America and the United Kingdom," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, adding that he would be holding a press conference at 10 a.m. ET.

"The agreement with the United Kingdom is a full and comprehensive one," he said in a subsequent post.

"It is a great honor to have the United Kingdom as our FIRST announcement. Many other deals, which are in serious stages of negotiation, to follow!" Trump added.
