SIA Engineering Bags SG$1.3 Billion Deal from Singapore Airlines; Shares Up 3%

SIA Engineering (SGX:S59) signed comprehensive services agreements with Singapore Airlines (SGX:C6L) and its low-cost arm Scoot, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The contracts, expected to yield a revenue of SG$1.3 billion, have a two-year term with an option to extend for another year.

The deals cover SIA's support for the fleets of Singapore Airlines and Scoot, including maintenance, repair, overhaul, and fleet management services.

Shares of the engineering services company were up over 3% in recent trading.
