Powell Sees 'Nothing Troubling' in Current Labor Market -- WSJ

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell says the central bank "can see perhaps a slow, continued cooling" in the labor market, but he told reporters that's not troubling given strength in the labor force participation rate and wages.

"Uncertainty about the economic outlook has diminished but remains elevated," he said at his press conference. "As long as we're seeing the kind of labor market that we have and reasonably decent growth" as well as inflation coming down, Powell says he feels comfortable waiting to learn more.
