0852 GMT - Yields on U.K. government bonds rise as expectations of an end to the U.S. government shutdown encourage investors to buy risky assets, lowering demand for safer assets such as government bonds. Global stock markets rise as Congress moved closer to ending the lengthy shutdown. Ten-year gilt yields rise 4 basis points to last trade at 4.425%, reversing some of their sharp drop on Tuesday after weak U.K. jobs data, Tradeweb data show. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
