Roblox (RBLX) is facing a lawsuit alleging that it misled parents about the safety of its platform and failed to shield children from harmful content and online predators, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said Thursday.
Uthmeier said his office filed the complaint while continuing its criminal investigation.
The lawsuit accuses Roblox of violating state laws on trade practices and children's online privacy protection, and seeks civil damages and injunctive relief.
Roblox did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
