AB InBev Can Toast to Growth Ahead -- Market Talk

Dow Jones01-09

0816 GMT - AB InBev's path toward growth and value creation is getting clearer, Jefferies analysts say. The Belgian brewer behind Budweiser should book slightly less negative sales trends for the fourth quarter, notably in China, the analysts write in a note to clients. Counterwinds include higher input costs and currency effects, but the company can continue to build a reputation as a consistent compounder, the bank says, keeping a buy rating and a 64 euro target price on the stock. Shares are up 1.1% at 56.48 euros. (joshua.kirby@wsj.com; @joshualeokirby)
