BUZZ-10x Genomics rises on collaboration to build patient tissue database
** Shares of life sciences tech firm 10x Genomics TXG.O rise 3.58% to $20.52
** Privately-held biotech AI firm Bioptimus launches STELA, a global project to build a large database of patient tissue samples linked to clinical records, starting with cancer and immunology
** TXG will provide its Xenium platform to STELA for mapping gene activity in tissue samples, while another partner, Broad Clinical Labs, will help generate the data at scale under a multi-year agreement
** Bioptimus says the project will combine tissue images, spatial gene data, other molecular data and long-term patient records
** The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the deal
** TXG rose more than 13% in 2025
