Shares of Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST) and Newmont (ASX:NEM) jumped 3% in recent trading on Tuesday after gold rose by 0.8% to $4,546 per ounce after the US Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said that he sees inflation expectations as being grounded.
Evolution Mining's (ASX:EVN) shares rose past 1%.
