The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 3.8% higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was down 4.1%.
Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) has agreed to acquire a portfolio of rental housing assets in Madrid from Blackstone (BX) for a gross purchase price of about 1.20 billion euros ($1.38 billion), media reports said. Brookfield Asset Management stock was up more than 1% pre-bell.
FactSet Research Systems (FDS) stock was up more than 4% after the company posted higher fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue, and raised its fiscal 2026 outlook.
BlackRock (BLK) is exploring HSBC's (HSBC) skyscraper in Canary Wharf, among other sites, for its new headquarters in London, the Financial Times reported, citing people familiar with the matter. HSBC shares were up more than 2% premarket.
