The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) were slightly lower.

Mizuho Financial (MFG) shares were down 3.6% premarket after the Japanese lender said it had not made a final decision on an investment in Rakuten Bank, CNBC reported.
