Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic is generating revenue at an annualized pace of nearly $45 billion, exceeding Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI's estimated run rate by at least 35%, The Information reported Tuesday.

OpenAI's annualized revenue recently topped $30 billion and is estimated at roughly $33 billion currently, according to the report.

Anthropic's revenue has expanded about fivefold since the start of 2026, while OpenAI's sales growth over the same period exceeded 50%, the report said.
