Healthcare stocks were mixed premarket Wednesday, with the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) 0.2% lower and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) up 0.5%.
Guardant Health (GH) shares were up more than 5% after the company said its Shield blood test has been included in the American Cancer Society's updated Colorectal Cancer Screening guidelines.
TG Therapeutics' (TGTX) Phase 3 ENHANCE trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating bioequivalent drug exposure between the approved two-infusion initiation regimen for Briumvi and a proposed single Day 1 infusion dosing schedule, the company said. TG Therapeutics stock was up more than 1% pre-bell.
Nuvalent (NUVL) shares were up more than 1% after the company said the US Food and Drug Administration accepted for filing its New Drug Application for neladalkib, an investigational ALK-selective inhibitor in tyrosine kinase inhibitor pre-treated advanced ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer.
