Eli Lilly May Raise Stake in Scribe Therapeutics to 10.9% Stake Through IPO

Eli Lilly (LLY) has indicated an interest in buying shares at Scribe Therapeutics' initial public offering sufficient to raise its stake to as much as 10.9% following the offering and a concurrent private placement, Scribe said in a regulatory filing on Monday.

Scribe is offering 7.15 million shares at an expected price of $13 to $15 each, seeking to raise net proceeds of about $96 million at the midpoint of the proposed range and including the private placement.

The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1.07 million shares, Scribe said.

Scribe said it has applied to list its common stock on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol "SCTX."
