CrowdStrike (CRWD) and Clear (YOU) said Monday they teamed up to combine biometric identity verification with cybersecurity threat detection software.
This allows the companies to confirm the actual person behind suspicious network activity using government-issued identification, the companies said.
When the cybersecurity system flags a potential risk, the software will prompt the identity platform to verify the user in real time, they said.
The companies added that security teams can use the combined data to decide whether to block, investigate, or permit the digital activity.
Shares of Clear were up over 4% in Monday premarket activity.
