GrafTech International (EAF) said Tuesday that it has raised graphite electrode prices by at least 30%, effective immediately for all open commercial negotiations.
The company said the price increase to "sustainable" levels is necessary to support ongoing investment in production capabilities and ensure reliable long-term supply for customers.
Shares of the company were up 8.7% in Tuesday's premarket activity.
