PTC Therapeutics' (PTCT) Sephience hyperphenylalaninaemia drug is expected to grow at a steady pace as international markets expand next year, RBC Capital Markets analysts said in a note emailed Friday.

RBC analysts now estimate Sephience sales of $657 million in 2026 and peak global sales of $1.1 billion.

RBC said PTC faces meaningful upside potential if discussions with the US Food and Drug Administration suggest an openness to accelerated approval for votoplam for Huntington's disease.

Analysts said that PTC's recent deals have further solidified its balance sheet and should carry it to profitability.

RBC maintained a sector perform rating on the stock, but increased its price target to $77 from $75.

Shares of the company were down 3.6% in Friday trading.
