Amcor's (AMCR) Q1 results are expected to be broadly in line with market expectations and guidance amid risks, RBC Capital Markets said in a note Friday. The results are due Nov. 4.
The report said volumes are expected to grow 0.5%, with synergies on track, but higher raw material, energy, and freight costs could pressure margins.
"We believe the market may also be underestimating restructuring costs, free cashflow and leverage in the quarter, which is the seasonal low," the report said.
Amcor is expected to report adjusted EPS of $0.94, against consensus of $0.96, and guidance of $0.92 to $0.98, it said.
RBC kept its sector perform rating, expecting its multiple and dividend yield to continue to support the share price.
