Eli Lilly's (LLY) strong results and higher guidance support continued growth in its obesity and diabetes businesses, with further upside to estimates, UBS said in a note.
UBS said global glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) demand remains exceptional, with volume growth more than offsetting lower pricing.
The brokerage sees the company's obesity portfolio, including tirzepatide, retatrutide and the amylin analog eloralintide, supporting the franchise's durability through 2030-2035, the note said.
UBS also sees potential growth franchises beyond obesity in oncology, neurology and other therapeutic areas. The brokerage said Eli Lilly's Dec. 7 research and development day could provide insight into its pipeline, though the programs remain earlier-stage and require further clinical validation, the note said.
UBS maintained a buy rating and raised it price target to $1,625 from $1,425.
