Kymera Therapeutics (KYMR) remains optimistic over the phase 2 trial topline data on KT-621 in atopic dermatitis, which is set for release by yearend, RBC Capital Markets said in a Thursday note.

KT-621's mechanism and phase 1b data have already indicated its potential against marketed biologics dupilumab and lebrikizumab, the brokerage said. Management appears to favor biologics similar to that of dupilumab, given the proposed oral alternative that could expand the market, RBC noted.

RBC said KT-621's biologic-like data could unlock a potential upside of over 30% for the company.

RBC has a sector perform rating on Kymera Therapeutics, with a higher price target of $116 from $112 previously.
