I always thought that having a bigger slice of pie is good?? Am I wrong?? Profit will automatic follow with bigger market share, as long as your costs is within control.

  Having a bigger pie of the shares in the invested company to gain higher profits. but if the company loses its market share will result in drop in its earning profit; causing drop in per share profit.
