$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$
Tesla cutting prices to increase demand shows how competitive the environment is. But having said that their margins are higher than the other majors for EV especiallyin China, so the price war is potentially more damaging to the other players. European investigation on subsidies pose an overhang on share prices, but I think it will take a while to be concluded. AFAIK such subsidies were paid to manufacturer to reduce selling price per car, but mainly domestic sales. Other more indirect subsidies like paying to battery makers to help development of new technology is harder to quantify, similar to US CHIPS Act.
