According to renowned leaker MajinBuOfficial, the iPhone 17 series' leaked back panel aligns closely with previous rumors of a new design. It features a brand-new horizontal rear camera layout.
This back panel likely belongs to the new iPhone 17 Air model, which focuses on ultra-thin and lightweight design. The iPhone 17 Air is only 5.5mm thick, compared to the iPhone 16's 7.8mm and iPhone 16 Pro's 8.25mm, making it 30% and 33% thinner, respectively.
This model will replace the poorly performing Plus variant and form a new product lineup alongside the standard, Pro, and Pro Max versions.
As for pricing, the iPhone 17 Air will be similar to the iPhone 16 Plus. Notably, leaked images suggest that both the standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will feature high-refresh-rate displays—marking the first time Apple introduces high-refresh-rate technology to non-Pro models, significantly enhancing everyday usability.
iPhone 17 Pro Horizontal Matrix Module
The iPhone 17 Pro is also getting a major redesign with a horizontal large matrix module. While the triple-camera arrangement remains unchanged, the flash and LiDAR sensor have shifted to the right, reflecting substantial adjustments.
Key Technical Levels to Watch for Apple
If Apple’s stock falls below $208, it will enter a technical bear market.
Analysts noted that Apple's stock is hovering near its 200-day moving average (approximately $217). A break below this level could lead to the next technical support at $208. This would represent a roughly 20% decline from its recent high, pushing the stock into a "bear market" in technical terms.
Among the 51 analysts surveyed by FactSet, 32 recommend a "Buy," 14 recommend a "Hold," and 5 recommend a "Sell."
