Current situation 🔍

Palantir $PLTR dropped about -20% past month and quickly regained most of it. Being up +18% after the sell-off.

Right now, I believe it's in the "temporary bounce" phase. Fueled by bullish macro news on AI and some nice $PLTR deals being shared. I would be surprised if it would break into new highs in the short term though.

Scenario 1: significant pull-back🩸

Most likely triggered by Q4'24 earnings. My best guess is that $PLTR will deliver a great quarter, but it won't be enough to sustain its lofty valuation. Sparking a sell-off mainly by institutional investors.

Scenario 2: the $NVDA quarter 🚀

The only scenario where $PLTR will reach new high AND what justifies its current valuation is an $NVDA style blow-out quarter: a MASSIVE beat and raise. Possible, though not likely.
