Palantir (PLTR) and Hims & Hers Health (HIMS) operate in completely different industries—one in data analytics and AI for government and enterprises, the other in telehealth and consumer wellness. However, comparing their fundamentals reveals interesting insights into growth, profitability, and market positioning. For example:

Revenue Growth: Both companies have seen strong revenue growth, but Palantir’s government contracts provide stability, while Hims relies on a subscription-based DTC (direct-to-consumer) model.

Profitability: Palantir has achieved GAAP profitability, whereas Hims is still working toward it.

Valuation: PLTR trades at a higher multiple due to its AI-driven hype, while HIMS is valued more as a high-growth healthcare play.

Currently will Palantir extend its bull run after plunging last night?

I believe PLTR has further growth; the current plunge are just short-term noise. The sell-off is a staged reaction to the founder's share disposal plan and the US defense budget cuts. PLTR is a software company, and the US will continue to rely on AI-powered solutions like Palantir for warfare.
