$Intel(INTC)$ $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ $Apple(AAPL)$ This means that the alternative to TSMC, Intel, would see tons of heavy investment and focus by US companies that rely on chips and the US government. We'd likely see the gov pouring billions into Intel and we'd see the foundry spinoff, with huge joint venture investments from the likes of Nvidia and Apple. Losing TSMC as a source cripples their businesses. The only viable alternative is Intel.
