I first started learning option via YouTube channel from influencer that tried to teach option trading. However, those trade may sound easy in video but when it comes to executing the trades, it is not as easy. It took me 6 months before started selling put option thinking it was easy money.
The moment that trigger me with the “sell put” was that it was during a market correction and in my mind was like “how low further can the market go”? It was a mistake as we went into a bear market after that.
Based on my experience, one should practice their option trading using paper account first (which tiger platform has). Once they are comfortable with the trade, execute small amounts using real money. Otherwise just learn from the hard way!
The option book helps with providing the basic understanding which top with the paper trading account, it will help beginners go through a much easy learning curve!
Hope to win the option mouse pad to further enhance my skills. Life long option learning!
How Much Chance Left for 2025? Keep Climbing or Hedge?
November’s here — 2025 is counting down! With just weeks left in the year, investors everywhere are discussing: Is there still room to run, or time to lock in profits? Some analysts say there’s still room to climb 📈 — supported by the Fed’s rate cuts, rising AI-driven profits, and corporate earnings beating expectations. But others disagree, saying we should watch out for high valuations, and year-end volatility could spark a short-term pullback.
