Among the key themes — AI, geopolitics, and domestic policy — AI influenced my investment decisions the most. Geopolitics created noise and local policies shaped sentiment, but AI was the main force driving sector performance, valuation shifts, and my focus on long-term tech opportunities.
If I could add one more character for 2025, I’d choose “速” (speed). This year moved quickly — from policy shifts to market rotations and AI breakthroughs. “速” captures the acceleration and urgency that defined 2025 for me as an investor adapting to rapid change.

Tons of money has poured into AI and it will affects everyone life. Even our investment is going AI and Tiger has introduce AI it to helps investors to made their investments decision.
On the flip side beware of AI being used for scams and be prudent when things seems to be too good.
Geopolitics impacted my investment decisions the most this year as market swings very heavily with liberation day and subsequent favourable and unfavourable trade talks continue to swing the market. Unfortunately, as we cannot predict the outcomes of those trade talks, investment did become a bit of a gamble of what could be the potential outcome.
I would propose 金/gold for 2025 as gold rallied insanely for this year due to uncertainties. I still find it unbelievable that it managed to surge on and on with central banks and retail buyers kept buying it.
