I made an additional investment in Apple stock, viewing the current environment as an opportunity to position for sustained long-term growth despite near-term headwinds. UBS analyst David Vogt recently reiterated a Neutral rating with a $280 price target, highlighting concerns over slowing App Store growth and tough December comparisons, even with a foreign exchange tailwind. Data from Sensor Tower shows that November App Store revenue grew approximately 6% on a reported basis, following 7% and 9% growth in September and October, respectively. On a currency-neutral basis, growth was around 5% year-over-year, reflecting ongoing momentum. While December faces a challenging 12% comparison hurdle, this is slightly lower than recent mid-teens comps, suggesting that growth may remain achievable. This combination of steady App Store revenue, global brand strength, and resilient product ecosystem underpins my confidence in adding to my Apple position.
