More Crowded, More Costly, Less Home

Singapore’s personal income tax just keeps climbing. Paying $8k+ to the government isn’t exactly something to celebrate — especially when CDC vouchers, GST vouchers, and rebates barely make a dent.

Meanwhile, the roads are more congested, public spaces feel dirtier, the city is increasingly crowded — and it’s starting to feel less like home.

    What’s the implication of that 🍋‍🟩 like drink 🍸 photo for, girl? Looking pretty 🤩? Don’t complain lah, if you can be so healthy looking 👀 and paying $8k+ tax means you are doing very well in Singapore! We have to slog in Australia with high taxes of 30+%! My taxes are easily around $40k before property taxes! There’s no such thing as CDC vouchers too. Anyway, you are doing well in your sideline… be happy and stay healthy

      Yup, 30-40% taxes are pretty sad… I can’t imagine how Australian government still need to borrow money even after sucking the residents… the big corporates especially the mining companies should be the ones paying more. Why? They are the ones removing stuffs (minerals) from Australia, rather than contributing, no?! [Facepalm][Spurting][Tongue]
