To address the crisis, Saudi Arabia started a 1,200-kilometer-long onshore pipeline, diverting nearly 4 million barrels of crude a day to Yanbu, the Red Sea. This pipeline is the last tourniquet that the global economy is now free from complete blood loss. However, it also means that a large number of tankers must now pass through the Red Sea and the Strait of Mandeb — which is the range of the Houthi attacks!
