In the last couple of days, demand has nearly hit our current capacity ceiling. To make sure current subscribers don't see a drop in service quality, we're putting a temporary hold on new sign-ups and are focusing compute power on existing members. If you're already subscribed, you're all set.
We're scaling up capacity as quickly as possible and will start reopening for new subscriptions in waves.
Looking ahead, we're also planning to split the membership into two more targeted tiers: a Kimi Membership for the web, app, and work features, and a Kimi Code Membership specifically for coding workflows. This should help us allocate compute resources more efficiently and maintain a stable experience.
Appreciate the patience while we sort this out.
