$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ $Microsoft(MSFT)$ $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ $Micron Technology(MU)$ $SK hynix(SKHY)$ AI server prices are set to jump 15%+ as memory costs surge, according to Bloomberg. The timing lines up well with earnings and forward guidance this week.
Nvidia customers are reportedly being warned that AI server prices will rise more than 15% in many cases for systems shipping early next year, including Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell. The increases will vary by chip generation and memory configuration, with surging DRAM costs from Micron, Samsung and SK Hynix driving much of the pressure. Server makers supplying hyperscalers including Microsoft, Google and Oracle have already started notifying customers, potentially adding billions in costs to the massive AI data center buildout.
