The recent Jackson Hole presentation seemed hawkish enough to trigger some preemptive S&P correction. I'm firmly in the September maintain-rates camp, and I'd be happy to scoop up some lower lows on names like $Rocket Companies(RKT)$ if market fear keeps hedging running up into the decision. Alternatively, there's the approach of dancing with dips and chasing new highs in $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ or whatever. I've seen so many signals that they want to run it hot, and the bond market seems to be the tail wagging the dog back toward "normalcy." The other path is an epic inflation death spiral — which they're very capable of bungling into reality. $Rocket Companies(RKT)$ is holding a pretty tight range right now, and it looks a lot like a reflection of the housing market.
