Singapore’s latest insider activity sends a cautiously positive signal: directors and CEOs recorded 22 purchases versus only four disposals, while 17 companies bought back S$46 million of shares. Among the names, A-Sonic Aerospace stands out. CEO Janet Tan continued accumulating shares after H1 2026 profit surged 234%, suggesting management confidence in the company’s improving earnings profile.

Frencken is a different story. Its S$100 million placement could fund expansion and potential M&A, but the 9.3% enlarged share base creates near-term dilution; shares subsequently fell 7.5%.

Overall, insider buying is encouraging, but investors should distinguish genuine accumulation from corporate fundraising. A-Sonic looks more interesting for a contrarian watchlist.
