$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ AMD shareholders are picking up on TSMC's public statement about accelerating its ramp of 14 2nm fabs (10 in Taiwan, 4 in Arizona) to support AMD's massive J-curve quarters and years ahead (starting from Q4 2026, with guidance issued in November).

From TSMC's perspective, this is its most aggressive ramp to date. Also, these 2nm fabs are designed to accommodate future nodes (1.4nm and 1.6nm), which suggests AMD can keep expanding its allocation and is on track to become TSMC's second-largest customer in 2027-2028.
