Wall Street's latest sell-off has left some big-name stocks looking like holiday markdowns.
Lululemon has lost nearly half its value this year. Netflix is down close to 30%, while Nike, Adobe and other former market favorites have also taken a beating. $Lululemon Athletica(LULU)$ $Netflix(NFLX)$ $Adobe(ADBE)$ $Oracle(ORCL)$ $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $Nike(NKE)$ $AppLovin Corporation(APP)$
With the holiday shopping season approaching, investors face a familiar question: Are these beaten-down stocks finally bargains, or could they fall even further?
Some may be oversold and poised for a rebound. Others face deeper challenges, from slowing growth to rising competition. A 50% drop doesn't necessarily mean a stock is cheap.
If you could add just ONE beaten-down stock to your 2027 watchlist, which would you pick? Would you bet on a comeback for Lululemon or Netflix? Buy the dip in a tech favorite like Adobe or Oracle? Or is there another stock you think Wall Street has unfairly punished?

Alphabet trades at an attractive 15.9x forward earnings ratio especially when you compare it to its peers trading at 25x or 30x.
Wall Street keeps hyperventilating over AI search disruption, conveniently forgetting that Alphabet prints cash like a central bank, dominates digital advertising & is monetising Gemini across billions of users.
Buying Alphabet on a market dip is like finding a vintage Rolex at a garage sale because the owner thought it needed a new battery.
Google Cloud has quietly become a huge growth driver. It captured a massive 82% YoY revenue to USD 24.8 billion, expanding faster than its key competitors.
Alphabet is essentially a defensive fortress disguised as a discounted tech stock. It is action time!

Unlike some beaten-down stocks where the decline reflects weakening fundamentals, Adobe still owns a powerful ecosystem across Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and enterprise creative workflows. The biggest concern is whether generative AI disrupts that moat, but I think AI could also strengthen it if Adobe successfully monetises Firefly and embeds AI deeper into products customers already use.
What attracts me after the sell-off is the combination of recurring revenue, strong cash generation and a valuation that has compressed significantly from its former premium.
I would watch AI-related revenue growth, Creative Cloud retention and margins closely. If those remain healthy, the market may eventually realise that AI is not only a threat to Adobe, but potentially another monetisation layer.
A falling price alone does not make a bargain, but ADBE is the beaten-down name I would put highest on my 2027 watchlist.
While market anxieties over emerging generative AI disruption have heavily compressed its valuation multiple, Adobe's impressive double-digit ARR expansion and accelerating AI-driven monetization prove its industry-standard creative ecosystem remains deeply entrenched. A dramatic price drop alone never guarantees a bargain; true long-term value resides in durable pricing power, switching costs, and recurring cash flow. For a 2027 horizon, accumulating cash-generative, fundamentally resilient innovators during broad market panics offers a far superior risk-reward profile than either chasing speculative momentum or catching falling knives with eroding business fundamentals.
