Then there's inflation, which eats away at consumer savings.</p><p>The Fed's easing measures also have a direct impact on U.S. stocks. Low interest rates have pushed U.S. stock valuations to record highs.</p><p>Mauldin said that in many ways, the U.S. stock market is in a bubble.</p><p>Mauldin wrote in the report: \"The Fed seems to have taken on a third mission: keeping the stock market rising.
