Personally, I consider myself a conservative investor, but I believe it&#39;s crucial to assess Nvidia within the context of its growth trajectory.</p><p>Since the summer, Nvidia&#39;s stock has retraced from its all-time highs, currently trading at a P/E ratio of 77.14x, which is 39.2% higher than its 5-year average.</p><p>However, it&#39;s essential to factor in Nvidia&#39;s promising growth prospects. By doing so, Nvidia doesn&#39;t appear as expensive when compared to its historical averages.</p><p>The Forward P/E Ratio now stands at 42.21x, marking a 31% decrease from its 5-year average of 61.12.</p><p>Additionally, the Forward EV/EBITDA of 35.58x is 24.9% lower than the 5-year average of 47.34x.</p><p>Considering the 1-year-forward basis alone, we can conclude that Nvidia is currently trading at approximately a 27.5% discount to its 5-year averages.</p><p></p><p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b72fe32ba9d981ebb195443cf47e6392\" tg-width=\"640\" tg-height=\"555\"/></p><p>Valuation Grade (Seeking Alpha)</p><p></p><p>However, this perspective doesn&#39;t encompass the entire valuation scenario.</p><p>Analysts are anticipating Nvidia&#39;s revenue to surge by approximately 100% from FY23 to FY24, reaching $54.08 billion. This projection closely aligns with the company&#39;s performance in Q1-Q2 FY24 and its guidance for Q3.</p><p>Looking beyond the current year, from 2024 to 2030, expectations indicate Nvidia will experience an annualized revenue growth of 24.6% and a 31.1% growth in operating profit.</p><p>Under this assumption, I anticipate Nvidia to maintain an average 46% operating margin. This was boosted by the 23.3% y-o-y growth in 4QFY2022’s revenue of $293.4 million, which was a quarterly record.</p><p>The higher y-o-y revenue in the 4QFY2022 was due to an increase in commission income from agency services and from the group’s project marketing services as a result of higher transactions completed for both agency services and project marketing in the last quarter on the back of improvements in the economy and in the Covid-19 situation.</p><p>The growth in FY2022 revenue was due to higher commission income from agency services of approximately $121.4 million and partially offset by decrease in commission income from project marketing services of approximately $51.8 million. This was a result of higher number of transactions completed for agency services partially offset by fewer project marketing launch in FY2022.</p><p>Gross profit for the FY2022 increased by 2.8% y-o-y to $104.7 million in tandem with the revenue increase.</p><p>Other income increased by 131.1% y-o-y to $16.1 million due to the derecognition of trade payables to agents of approximately $7.8 million and increase in advertising and marketing income by approximately $1.9 million. The higher other income was partially offset by decrease in referral fee income by approximately $0.7 million.</p><p>Earnings per share (EPS) for the 4QFY2022 and FY2022 stood at 4.80 cents and 16.85 cents respectively.</p><p>Cash and cash equivalents stood at $138.8 million.</p><p>“We have wrapped up the year with a record full-year revenue posted in PropNex’s history. Despite limited new project launches and a decline in home price growth in the fourth quarter of 2022, we managed to turn in a healthy set of results following improvements in both the Covid-19 situation and the overall economy. Looking forward, we believe that buying interest will continue to remain resilient, as seen by the successful launch of Sceneca Residences early this year and with a healthy pipeline of new launches expected in 2023,” says Ismail Gafoor, co-founder, executive chairman and CEO of PropNex.</p><p><b>One-for-one bonus issue</b></p><p>The group has proposed to undertake a bonus issue where one bonus share will be credited as fully paid per every existing PropNex share held.</p><p>Up to 370 million new ordinary shares will be issued to PropNex’s shareholders with the proposed issue.</p><p>This is the first bonus share issue undertaken by PropNex and was done in a bid to encourage trading liquidity in addition to broadening the distribution of PropNex’s shares, says Gafoor.</p><p><b>Dividend</b></p><p>A final dividend of 8 cents per share has been proposed, payable on May 12. This brings the total dividend for the FY2022 to 13.5 cents per share, or 80% of the group’s FY2022 earnings.</p><p>As at Jan 1, the group’s number of salespersons grew by 8% y-o-y to 11,667, still making it the largest real estate agency in Singapore.</p><p>Looking ahead, the group expects overall private home prices to rise by 5% to 6% in 2023, easing from the 8.6% increase in 2022 in view of the high land cost and rising construction cost faced by developers. Demand for HDB resale flats are also expected to remain stable with the group projecting that 28,000 to 30,000 flats could be resold this year with the Budget 2023 announcement on Feb 14 on the additional CPF housing grants given for first-time buyers.</p><p>“With higher grants for two to four-room HDB flats, this will encourage right-sizing of homes - potentially easing demand for five-room or larger flats. On the flipside, this could also further spur demand for resale flats given tight market supply, thereby keeping prices firm,” says Gafoor.</p><p>“Also, measures such as higher marginal Buyer’s Stamp Duty for higher-value residential and non-residential properties should not impact home sales significantly, as this should be manageable for buyers of homes priced over $1.5 million and $3 million. The company&#39;s CFO had issued comments then that suggested street estimates may be too high movingforward, which I thought could lead to a guidance miss at this week&#39;s report. Well, Intel reported its Q4 results after the bell on Thursday, and as bad as they were, things are looking much worse in the current period.</p><p>For Q4, Intel came in with revenues of $14 billion. This figure matched the low end of management&#39;s guidance, and was down 28% over the prior year period when excluding the divested NAND business. The street was looking for about $14.5 billion in total sales, the midpoint of guidance, so this end result was an obvious disappointment. The weakness was led by the Client Computing group, which saw revenues down 36% year-over-year, and the DataCenter segment that was down 33%.</p><p>The revenue shortfall led to further pain down the income statement. Gross margins came in at just 43.8% on a non-GAAP basis, more than a full percentage point below guidance. The situation will get even worse moving forward, which I&#39;ll get to, but inventories have certainly surged now. Intel finished 2022 with inventory up $2.5 billion over the end of 2021, despite full year adjusted revenues being down more than $11.5 billion. These numbers finished off a terrible year for Intel as the graphic below details.</p><p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d98fdb08dcd487976d53c5d4e9e72e4c\" tg-width=\"640\" tg-height=\"195\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"/><span>Intel 2022 Overview (Company Q4 Report)</span></p><p>The pinch on revenues and margins hurt the rest of the income statement, where management couldn&#39;t deliver enough cost savings. Intel finished last year with an increase of more than 10,000 employees, despite the huge decline in revenues. As a result, the two main operating expenses were actually up $140 million on a non-GAAP basis over Q4 2021. The company&#39;s tax rate also surged unexpectedly, leading to just a dime of non-GAAP earnings per share. That was half of what the street was looking for, with the company actually losing more than $660 million on a GAAP basis.</p><p>With all of these results falling short, Intel&#39;s adjusted free cash flow was a negative $4.075 billion for the full year in 2022. This was a negative swing of $7 billion from 2021, and was slightly worse than the bottom end of guidance. While the company isn&#39;t in any financial difficulty currently, cash burn is not a welcome sight when you are paying $6 billion in annual dividends a year. For now, that will mean more debt added to the balance sheet, especially as Intel goes through a major capital expenditure cycle.</p><p>Unfortunately, as bad as Q4 results were, guidance was many times worse. I had mentioned in my previous article that Intel&#39;s CFO had talked about normal seasonality in Q1, which usually meant a 5% to 7% decline in revenues from Q4 levels. Going into the report, the street was looking for a little more than a 3% sequential decline to $14.02 billion. However, management is calling for a midpoint of just $11 billion, plus or minus half a billion, which is roughly a $3 billion shortfall against the street. Last year&#39;s Q1 saw $18.4 billion, so this is a dramatic plunge for a company of this size.</p><p>With revenues coming in low, gross margins aren&#39;t expected to fare any better. Non-GAAP margins are forecast to be 39% in Q1 2023, down from 53.1% in the prior year period and 58.8% two years earlier. With the company&#39;s chip performance falling behind peers, not only have revenues disappeared, but the company has lost a bit of pricing power. For the bottom line, management is calling for a non-GAAP loss per share of $0.15 in the period, whereas analysts were looking for a 25 cent profit. On a GAAP basis, Intel expects a loss of $0.80 per share. This outlook, especially on the bottom line, looks much worse when you consider the following benefit the company is receiving from a major accounting change it is making.</p><blockquote>Effective January 2023, Intel increased the estimated useful life of certain production machinery and equipment from five years to eight years. When compared to the estimated useful life in place as of the end of 2022, Intel expects total depreciation expense in 2023 to reduce by roughly $4.2 billion, including an approximate $2.6 billion increase to gross profit, a $400 million decrease in R&amp;D expenses and a $1.2 billion decrease in 2023 ending inventory values. Intel’s Q1 2023 outlook includes an estimated $350 million to $500 million benefit to operating margin or $0.07 to $0.10 benefit to EPS from this change, split approximately 75% to cost of sales and 25% to operating expenses. The change in depreciable life will not be counted toward the $3 billion in cost savings in 2023 or the $8 billion to $10 billion exiting 2025 communicated at Q3 2022 earnings.</blockquote><p>In my previous article, I mentioned how Intel shares could drop to the mid $20s range, which was based on current estimates at that time. Shares did drop to that level before rebounding, but they are now down more than 8% in Thursday&#39;s after-hours session, trading below $28 again. Going into this earnings report, analysts thought the name was worth more than $31 a share, but I believe we&#39;ll see a lot of price target cuts on these results.</p><p>Given how bad this guidance was, I now think the mid to low $20s is a range that investors should target if they want to buy Intel Corporation, but I&#39;m not going to put a concrete target on the stock until we see more results in the space so I can value Intel compared to its competitors for this year and 2024. However, it would not surprise me if shares re-test their 52-week lows, unless we get a dramatic market rally next week on a potential Federal Reserve pivot.</p><p>In the end, Thursday&#39;s Q4 earnings report for Intel was a true disaster. Non-electronic NODX contracted sequentially but electronics grew. On a seasonally-adjusted basis, the level of NODX was S$15.9 billion in October, lower than in September (S$16.5 billion) and a year ago (S$16.6 billion).The shipment of electronic products fell 9.3 per cent year on year in October, continuing the previous month’s 10.6 per cent contraction.  Contributing most to the decline in electronic NODX were integrated circuits (-11.1 per cent), disk media products (-45.7 per cent) and parts of PCs (-31.6 per cent).Non-electronic exports fell 4.5 per cent from the previous year, reversing from September’s 7.6 per cent expansion. Pharmaceuticals (-34.7 per cent), non-monetary gold (-45.5 per cent) and petrochemicals (-18.4 per cent) contributed the most to the decline in non-electronic NODX.NODX to Singapore’s top 10 markets shrank overall in October, mainly due to mainland China, where exports were down 32 per cent; the European Union, down 19.5 per cent; and Malaysia, down 16.1 per cent. NODX to Thailand and Indonesia contracted in October after previously growing in September.But NODX to the United States, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea rose, outstripping growth in the month before.Despite the fall in NODX, total trade was up 8.6 per cent year on year, though this represented an easing from the 20.7 per cent growth in September. Unfortunately, decreasing operating expenses this way might look good on the quarterly report, but it can poison a workplace culture and affect future output.</p><p>Intel is also spending big money on its Ohio chip factory: a $20 billion investment that could potentially expand to $100 billion.
