the coming weeks

The roadshow for Reddit’s closely watched public debut on the New York Stock Exchange will start on Monday, as it prepares to begin trading the following week in a tech listing that will set the tone for the market in 2024.

The social media platform is trying to secure an anchor investor as it pitches its fast-growing advertising business and the promise of revenues from selling its data. Reddit plans to price its initial public offering on March 20 and start trading the following day, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The company is targeting between $31 and $34 a share, translating to a valuation of as much as $6.5bn. Reddit and the NYSE declined to comment.

If Reddit prices as planned, the listing will give it a significantly smaller value than the $10bn it reached in its last private valuation in 2021. US IPO activity has been depressed for more than two years, and even those that have managed to go public recently have had to offer investors substantial valuation discounts compared with listed rivals.

One IPO banker, who is not involved in the deal, said that the listing would “not define the entire IPO market — but a bad performance certainly wouldn’t help as we think about tech IPOs in general”.

Reddit would be looking to entice an “anchor” or “cornerstone” investor who will agree to have their names published in the prospectus in exchange for being guaranteed a large allocation of shares, two people said. Such investors have become increasingly common in the tricky fundraising environment.

Some of Reddit’s largest existing shareholders include Fidelity, the $4.5tn asset management group, and China’s Tencent.

For the NYSE, Reddit marks its most high-profile tech listing since the height of the 2020-21 IPO boom. Owned by Intercontinental Exchange, NYSE is expected to pull out all the stops and encourage more companies to follow suit.

Reddit’s choice to list on NYSE surprised some observers as rival Nasdaq has long had a reputation as the default venue for high-profile tech groups. But NYSE has quietly carved out a niche hosting social media groups.

Its pitch to encourage Reddit to choose the so-called big board included a substantial marketing package. Both traders and the historic trading floor will be decked out in Reddit’s white and orange colour scheme, according to people familiar with the plans.

Listings on NYSE are less automated than those on Nasdaq, with a dedicated human market maker helping to manage liquidity and reduce volatility. Trading firm GTS will be the designated market maker for Reddit, having performed the same role with Twitter, Pinterest and Snap. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are the lead bankers on the deal.

Patrick Murphy, a partner at GTS, said: “Twitter, Snap and Pinterest all had successful prints, all closed above the pricing, all traded 100 per cent of their float on the first day and all traded on the NYSE. If you do a real in-depth case study on mitigating volatility, it makes sense to pick the DMM model.”

As the birthplace of “meme stocks” and the notorious WallStreetBets trading forum, Reddit warned in its prospectus that trading in its shares could be particularly volatile.

The business, spun out as an independent subsidiary by Condé Nast parent company Advance Publications in 2011, has not made a profit in its 19-year history, and recorded a $91mn loss in 2023.

It had $800mn in sales last year, coming largely from advertising. Reddit will tell potential investors that it is building an advertising business similar to Pinterest, whereby it does not gather much personal data about its users and instead targets advertising by interest and intent, according to one person familiar with the plans.

On top of advertising, Reddit is attempting to lure potential investors with the promise that licensing user data to artificial intelligence groups looking to train their large language models will be a lucrative business. It has already struck a deal with Google worth about $60mn annually.

","source":"lsy1580170736413","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Reddit's Pre-IPO Roadshow to Kick off Next Week
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nReddit's Pre-IPO Roadshow to Kick off Next Week\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2024-03-08 15:15 GMT+8 The Financial Times\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Social media platform’s public debut will be closely watched as a gauge of the appetite for tech listingsReddit is expected to seek a valuation as high as $6.5bn when it lists in the coming weeksThe ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{},"source_url":"https://www.ft.com/content/b3199303-d419-482d-96c7-e73c0b0ee8ed","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1155216678","content_text":"Social media platform’s public debut will be closely watched as a gauge of the appetite for tech listingsReddit is expected to seek a valuation as high as $6.5bn when it lists in the coming weeksThe roadshow for Reddit’s closely watched public debut on the New York Stock Exchange will start on Monday, as it prepares to begin trading the following week in a tech listing that will set the tone for the market in 2024.The social media platform is trying to secure an anchor investor as it pitches its fast-growing advertising business and the promise of revenues from selling its data. It might also make the stock look cheaper.

All eyes were on the chipmaker’s guidance for signs about the strength of the AI market, and Nvidia didn’t disappoint. With the numbers now in, bulls are swiftly calculating the stock’s new price-to-earnings ratio, or how much investors are paying for future growth.

“Some investors have been scared to buy because they think the stock is too expensive, but that’s been a huge mistake,” said James Demmert, chief investment officer at Main Street Research. “Every time it reports, the P/E shrinks because the E ends up being so much stronger than people expect.”

Put another way, Nvidia’s earnings have been growing even faster than the stock.

Nvidia has seen its valuation slide since the middle of 2023, even amid a record-breaking rally for the shares, because of its massive earnings growth. In the fiscal fourth quarter, the chipmaker reported a whopping 486% year-over-year growth in earnings per share excluding certain items, with the $5.16 figure handily beating analyst estimates of $4.60. Its forecast for first quarter revenue of about $24 billion was also a big beat.

The numbers mean Wall Street estimates are set to be revised higher, which will likely bring down the valuation once again if the share price doesn’t keep pace. The stock jumped as much as 15% in morning trading, hitting a record intraday high.

While some investors have been concerned about a possible bubble forming around AI-related stocks, others noted that Nvidia is still less expensive than peers. The stock trades at about 32 times forward earnings, compared with rival Advanced Micro Devices Inc. at 45 times. It might also make the stock look cheaper. All eyes were on the chipmaker’s guidance for signs about the strength of the AI market, and Nvidia didn’t disappoint. With the numbers now in, bulls are swiftly calculating the stock’s new price-to-earnings ratio, or how much investors are paying for future growth.“Some investors have been scared to buy because they think the stock is too expensive, but that’s been a huge mistake,” said James Demmert, chief investment officer at Main Street Research. “Every time it reports, the P/E shrinks because the E ends up being so much stronger than people expect.”Put another way, Nvidia’s earnings have been growing even faster than the stock.Nvidia has seen its valuation slide since the middle of 2023, even amid a record-breaking rally for the shares, because of its massive earnings growth. The shares are also cheaper than those of Amazon.com Inc. and Microsoft Corp., while the Nasdaq 100 Index trades at a 25 times multiple.“Nvidia continues to be one of the cheapest AI-oriented stocks even after its year-to-date run up,” said David Wagner, portfolio manager at Aptus Capital Advisors LLC.Bullish comments from Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang are also likely to boost sentiment about the longer-term valuation. He said that AI has “hit the tipping point,” with demand surging worldwide across industries.“The longer the growth cycle, the more attractive the valuation will look for growth investors,” said Hendi Susanto, a portfolio manager at Gabelli Funds. “We want to see if Nvidia will continue to deliver this kind of strong growth beyond 2024, into 2025 and even 2026.”To be sure, Nvidia’s valuation needs to bake in the idea that current exponential growth can’t last forever, according to Alec Young, chief investment strategist at Mapsignals.“The normal valuation reflects the fact that the market doesn’t think this kind of growth is sustainable,” he said. “Once you get this big, the market doesn’t expect you to keep growing and doubling your business every year.”But that doesn’t mean that there’s any lack of enthusiasm around the stock and its growth trajectory for the next few years, especially given its place in the larger market, according to Young.“AI is a huge opportunity globally, and Nvidia is the arms merchant,” he said.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":224,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":274301347090720,"gmtCreate":1708005898735,"gmtModify":1708005902792,"author":{"id":"4103641731887900","authorId":"4103641731887900","name":"SAM CHONG","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f3b980e80e3bdc6b5b837e0dd6b60f56","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4103641731887900","authorIdStr":"4103641731887900"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","listText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","text":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/274301347090720","repostId":"2411596044","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2411596044","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Dow Jones publishes the world’s most trusted business news and financial information in a variety of media.","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Dow Jones","id":"1012688067","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/150f88aa4d182df19190059f4a365e99"},"pubTimestamp":1708005600,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2411596044?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2024-02-15 22:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Nvidia’s Earnings Are Coming. For investors feeling a little nervous headed into the earnings news—and who don’t want to just sell their Nvidia positions—options markets are offering an inexpensive way to buy some protection.

For its fiscal fourth quarter, due to be reported on Feb. 21, Wall Street expects Nvidia to report earnings per share of $4.57 from sales of $20.3 billion, according to FactSet. A year ago, Nvidia reported EPS and sales of 88 cents and $6.1 billion respectively.

Earnings growth is expected to be north of 400% year over year. Sales are expected to expand at a rate well above 200%.

Growth like that has propelled shares up about 220% over the past 12 months, taking Nvidia’s market capitalization to more than $1 trillion.

“We expect another strong print but think investors have largely priced in this near-term upside,” wrote Susquehanna analyst Chris Rolland in a Wednesday report previewing the results. “With size of the beat the real debatable point.”

It can be dangerous for any stock—even Nvidia—when investors expect results to come in far ahead of forecasts. That raises the risk that even strong numbers can disappoint the market.

So Rolland’s colleague, Susquehanna options strategist Christopher Jacobson, came up with an idea to project some of the recent gains at an attractive price. He recommends a stock options collar. That is a strategy that involves owning the stock, selling out-of-the-money call options, and buying out-of-the-money put options.

A stock option gives the holder the right to buy or sell a stock at a fixed price at a date in the future. A call option is the right to buy, while a put confers the right to sell. An option is out of the money if the price where the option can be exercised—the strike price—is higher than where the stock is trading in the case of a call option, or lower than where the stock is trading in the case of a put option.

The collar he suggests is selling a call that expires in March with a strike of $865, up about 20% from recent levels. Investors could take that money and buy put options that expire in March with a $630 strike, about 13% below recent levels.

That has the effect of capping the upside in the stock at 20% between now and the options’ expiration while limiting the potential loss to 13%. Nothing happens if the stock remains between $630 and $865 in the weeks after the earnings. The insurance policy, essentially purchased free, expires unused.

Getting protection like that for nothing is a little unusual. Put options are typically a little more expensive than call options, all else being equal, because “more can go way wrong than way right,” Jacobson said. It reflects the fact that it is human nature to look for the next disaster.

Options trading can be complicated. Investors should be sure they know what they are doing, or have solid advice, before piling in.

But in moderation, options are a useful tool. They can do a lot of things, like offering safety in a volatile stock.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Nvidia’s Earnings Are Coming. Sales are expected to expand at a rate well above 200%.Growth like that has propelled shares up about 220% over the past 12 months, taking Nvidia’s market capitalization to more than $1 trillion.“We expect another strong print but think investors have largely priced in this near-term upside,” wrote Susquehanna analyst Chris Rolland in a Wednesday report previewing the results. “With size of the beat the real debatable point.”It can be dangerous for any stock—even Nvidia—when investors expect results to come in far ahead of forecasts. That raises the risk that even strong numbers can disappoint the market. So Rolland’s colleague, Susquehanna options strategist Christopher Jacobson, came up with an idea to project some of the recent gains at an attractive price. He recommends a stock options collar. That is a strategy that involves owning the stock, selling out-of-the-money call options, and buying out-of-the-money put options.A stock option gives the holder the right to buy or sell a stock at a fixed price at a date in the future. The insurance policy, essentially purchased free, expires unused.Getting protection like that for nothing is a little unusual. Put options are typically a little more expensive than call options, all else being equal, because “more can go way wrong than way right,” Jacobson said. It reflects the fact that it is human nature to look for the next disaster.Options trading can be complicated. Investors should be sure they know what they are doing, or have solid advice, before piling in.But in moderation, options are a useful tool. They can do a lot of things, like offering safety in a volatile stock.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":258,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":272811108954360,"gmtCreate":1707642068760,"gmtModify":1707642073158,"author":{"id":"4103641731887900","authorId":"4103641731887900","name":"SAM CHONG","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f3b980e80e3bdc6b5b837e0dd6b60f56","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4103641731887900","authorIdStr":"4103641731887900"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","listText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","text":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/272811108954360","repostId":"2410337021","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":323,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":272340123844856,"gmtCreate":1707527082161,"gmtModify":1707527086240,"author":{"id":"4103641731887900","authorId":"4103641731887900","name":"SAM CHONG","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f3b980e80e3bdc6b5b837e0dd6b60f56","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4103641731887900","authorIdStr":"4103641731887900"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","listText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","text":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/272340123844856","repostId":"1104886890","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1104886890","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1707526292,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1104886890?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2024-02-10 08:51","market":"us","language":"en","title":"U.S. Weekly Review: Stock Market Hits Highs As AI Plays Arm, Palantir Skyrocket","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1104886890","media":"Investor's Business Daily","summary":"The stock market rally generally advanced with the S&P 500 hitting 5,000 for the first time and the Nasdaq at its best levels in over two years. Revenue rose 7% to $2.61 billion, in line with views and with growth slowing for a third straight quarter. Hilton's 2024 EPS guidance was a little light. Neurocrine guided to $2.1 billion to $2.2 billion in full-year sales of its bread-and-butter drug, Ingrezza, a treatment for tardive dyskinesia. That was slightly ahead of estimates. But Gilead's earnings guidance missed forecasts at the midpoint. For Amgen and Vertex, analysts focused on obesity and cystic fibrosis treatments, respectively. Amgen showed an increasing dose of its weight-loss drug led to 14.5% weight loss over 85 days, and Vertex said its next-generation triple-drug approach to cystic fibrosis outperformed its approved triplet, Trikafta, in two Phase 3 studies. Revenue fell 6%, but came in better than the double-digit declines in the prior three periods. Both ARCB and XPO gapped higher in huge weeks, with several other trucking firms cruising higher.

Ford, Toyota Jump On Earnings

Ford (F) joined General Motors (GM) in providing a bullish 2024 outlook after a less harsh-than-expected report for the final quarter of 2023. Ford earnings tumbled 43% in Q4 but easily beat views. Revenue rose 4% to $46 billion, defying views for a decline. Profit from Ford's commercial vehicle and combustion vehicle segments offset steep losses from its emerging electric-vehicle unit. Ford said it will launch next-gen EVs "only when they can be profitable." Toyota (TM) and Honda (HMC) also boosted their profit forecasts, thanks in part to growing demand for hybrid vehicles. tumble, an SEC filing shows.

A Form 4 filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission indicated that Hastings purchased 51,440 shares of Netflix on Thursday and Friday in a series of small transactions at prices ranging from $376.43 to $393.55.

NFLX closed Friday at $384.36, down 0.6% on the session and 45.2% since hitting a $700.99 record intraday high some 2-1/2 months ago.

The streaming giant’s shares hit a nearly two-year low of $351.46 intraday on Monday after Netflix (NFLX) reported after the bell on Jan. 20 that Q4 subscriber growth missed both company and analyst predictions. NFLX said it gained just 8.28M net subscribers worldwide, whereas analysts had anticipated 8.32M net new users and the company had previously guided to 8.5M.

The miss sparked a multi-session slide for NFLX stock that included a 22% selloff on Jan. 21. Contributor Denis Buivolov recently laid out a “Strong Buy” thesis for the stock, while columnist Mike Thomas countered with a “Strong Sell” recommendation.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":33,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":271076453646496,"gmtCreate":1707218567294,"gmtModify":1707218570010,"author":{"id":"4103641731887900","authorId":"4103641731887900","name":"SAM CHONG","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f3b980e80e3bdc6b5b837e0dd6b60f56","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4103641731887900","authorIdStr":"4103641731887900"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ ","listText":"$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ ","text":"$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/271076453646496","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":165,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9099039420,"gmtCreate":1643276269584,"gmtModify":1676533794459,"author":{"id":"4103641731887900","authorId":"4103641731887900","name":"SAM CHONG","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f3b980e80e3bdc6b5b837e0dd6b60f56","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4103641731887900","authorIdStr":"4103641731887900"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Miser] ","listText":"[Miser] ","text":"[Miser]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9099039420","repostId":"1160747349","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1160747349","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1643275357,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1160747349?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-27 17:22","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Meta Platforms Earnings Preview: What to Watch on Feb. 2","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1160747349","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Meta Platforms announced that the company's fourth quarter and full year 2021 financial results will","content":"

Meta Platforms announced that the company's fourth quarter and full year 2021 financial results will be released after market close on Wednesday, February 2.

Beginning with the fourth quarter 2021 earnings results, Meta will report revenue and income (loss) from operations for the following two segments:

Family of Apps (FoA) includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and other services.

Reality Labs (RL) includes augmented and virtual reality related consumer hardware, software and content.

In that report, analysts expect Meta Platforms to post earnings of $3.78 per share. This would mark a year-over-year decline of 2.58%. Meanwhile, the Consensus Estimate for revenue is projecting net sales of $33 billion, up 17.56% from the year-ago period.

Here's what to watch in Meta Platforms upcoming report.

Slowing revenue growth

Previously, Meta Platforms has missed market expectations for revenue in quarter three (Q3) 2021 and its forecast for Q4’s revenue at that time also came in below analysts’ estimates. With its share price on a downtrend ever since, the upcoming Q4 revenue will be on watch to validate if its sales growth can outperform.

"Our outlook reflects the significant uncertainty we face in the fourth quarter in light of continued headwinds from Apple's iOS 14 changes, and macroeconomic and COVID-related factors," explained Facebook's chief financial officer in the company's fourth-quarter earnings call.

One of the key performance metric, the average revenue per user (ARPU), may also be in focus. Seasonally, Q4 tends to see the ARPU figure pull ahead from the other quarters, considering that the year-end holiday season may see greater ramp-up for business advertising. That said, Apple's iOS 14 changes which require apps to seek users’ permission for data collection and sharing remains a weighing factor. This comes in the form of potentially reducing Meta Platforms’ accuracy for ads targeting and limiting their ad pricing as a result. We have seen the impact surface in Q3, with its ARPU declining 1.2% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), in what should traditionally be an increase. With that, any further impact on the holiday-driven Q4 will continue to be on watch in measuring Meta Platforms’ ability to mitigate these changes.

User growth

Facebook continues to consistently grow its user base nicely. In the company's third quarter, total unique monthly users across the company's family of apps (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp) rose 6% year over year. Unique daily active users increased 11% year over year.

Meta Platforms management said in its most recent quarterly earnings call that its TikTok-like Reels video product has been a key growth driver for engagement on its platform. If Reels' momentum persisted, it wouldn't be surprising to see a slight uptick in Meta Platforms' fourth-quarter user growth rates.

"Reels is already the primary driver of engagement profiles," explained Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg in the company's third-quarter earnings call. "It's incredibly entertaining, and I think that there is a huge amount of potential ahead. We expect this to continue growing and I am optimistic that Reels will be as important for our products as Stories is."

Metaverse

With Facebook’s recent name change to Meta Platforms, the company has placed its focus in building the metaverse, where it may already seem to be better equipped than other companies in being the pioneer for the theme. For one, it has its Oculus division which provides virtual reality headsets as a portal to that realm and recently, the company has announced to be in the midst of creating an AI supercomputer – AI Research SuperCluster to power the metaverse.

While its investments in the metaverse may not contribute to its topline in the upcoming Q4 results, or even subsequent years to come, any vision from the management in earnings call will be closely watched. This may include projected costs for metaverse-related development, expected timeline for launch and further reaffirmation of monetisation plans.

Investments for Metaverse, however, may lead to higher operating expenses and with the absence of any monetisation from that front in the near-term, its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margin may be expected to come under pressure. Meta Platforms has anticipated to spend at least $10 billion in 2021 and expect to increase its investments for the next several years. While its EBITDA margin remains at a promising level of 42.8% in Q3 2021, the management has guided for 2022 margins to be lower than 2021. With that, any impact on margins will continue to be monitored ahead.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Meta Platforms Earnings Preview: What to Watch on Feb. 2
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nMeta Platforms Earnings Preview: What to Watch on Feb. 2\n
\n\n
\n\n\n\n\n\n

\n\n
\n
Tiger Newspress
\n
2022-01-27 17:22
\n
\n\n\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n

Meta Platforms announced that the company's fourth quarter and full year 2021 financial results will be released after market close on Wednesday, February 2.

Beginning with the fourth quarter 2021 earnings results, Meta will report revenue and income (loss) from operations for the following two segments:

Family of Apps (FoA) includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and other services.

Reality Labs (RL) includes augmented and virtual reality related consumer hardware, software and content.

In that report, analysts expect Meta Platforms to post earnings of $3.78 per share.
