Dan Chang: Lion-Phillip SREITS ETF… when passive income meets active trading

👨‍🏫Renown trading representative Dan Chang shares his thoughts on how an investor’s traditional mindset on using a SREITS ETF for passive income can now be turned into an active opportunity by using the newly listed structured warrant tracking the ETF. 🔎He presents the short-term trading opportunities by analysing the chart of the ETF, and mentions the key levels for interested investors to consider: *Dan's view does not represent that of Macquarie's A Structured Warrant... on a REIT ETF? I have to admit, I had to read the announcement twice. Not because I couldn't understand it, but because it challenged how I had always thought about these two investment products. For many investors, buying a REIT is almost a mindset. You invest for the potential distributions, hold it patientl

Why McDonald’s Value Strategy Has Yet to Restore Strong US Traffic

$McDonald's(MCD)$’s first-quarter sales improved, but management’s warning about a weak start to the second quarter showed that value promotions have not fully repaired traffic among price-sensitive US customers. McDonald’s reported on May 7 for the quarter ended March 31. Global comparable sales increased 3.8%, while US comparable sales rose 3.9%. Global systemwide sales increased 11%, or 6% in constant currencies, to more than $34 billion. Loyalty members generated more than $9 billion of quarterly systemwide sales across 70 markets. McDonald’s first-quarter results provide the operating figures. The bullish thesis is based on scale, franchising and digital loyalty. Franchisees fund much of the restaurant estate while McDonald’s collects rent and

🪙Tiger Coins | 🍎 Apple Crushed Earnings—Then Lost Billions. Is the AI Boom Starting to Cannibalise

AI’s Hidden Supply-Chain Cost May Be Reaching Consumer Tech $Apple(AAPL)$ reported strong revenue, record product sales, and better-than-expected earnings. Yet investors sold the stock. The concern was not weak demand. It was whether Apple could secure enough advanced chips, memory, and manufacturing capacity to meet that demand. As companies invest heavily in AI data centres, semiconductor producers are directing more resources toward AI processors, high-bandwidth memory, and advanced packaging. Apple’s latest forecast raises a broader market question: Is the AI boom beginning to squeeze the supply chain for smartphones, computers and other consumer devices? 🐯🪙 Read to the end and share your view — thoughtful market insights may r
🪙Tiger Coins | 🍎 Apple Crushed Earnings—Then Lost Billions. Is the AI Boom Starting to Cannibalise
TOP北极篂: I am more inclined towards B + C. The AI boom is indeed changing the semiconductor supply chain. High-end processes, HBM and advanced packaging are all giving priority to AI servers. Consumer electronics will inevitably face rising costs and supply pressure in the short term. This not only affects Apple, but also other mobile phone and PC manufacturers may face the same challenges in the future. I'm not bearish on Apple for that, though. Its biggest advantages lie in its brand, ecology and pricing power. In the face of rising costs, Apple is better than most manufacturers to maintain profit margins through product upgrades or moderate price adjustments. At the same time, Apple's long-term close cooperation with the supply chain makes it easier to prioritize key production capacity. I think what's really worth watching is how long this supply crunch will last. If AI investment maintains high growth, the consumer electronics supply chain may still be under pressure in the next quarter or two, but in the long run, with the expansion of production capacity, supply and demand will eventually return to balance.

$ProShares Ultra Silver(AGQ)$  It is a risky trade, but I have started anyway... as I had shared a week or so, I have moved back into AGQ. I took some profits earlier when it was flying. I admit that I should probably move totally to cash on hindsight. But hindsight trading is always easy...  I didn't move to cash because I was not comfortable with USD, simply that. I had shared many times years ago that I see dedollarisation accelerating with the second coming of Trump, and I am still standing by it. USD and USD based debts are no longer safe... Gold and silver are now my preferred currencies. Although the risk of the raise in interest rates are real with the heightened inflation led by the rising oil price, the

TOPbouncee: 62 is the line for me too. If silver clears that, 68-69 on the first push sounds very doable
