$S&P 500

S&P 500 JUST BROKE ABOVE 7,800 FOR FIRST TIME EVERY The biggest cause of this is that the two-year yield fell to 4.14% and September hike odds dropped from ~50% to ~35% after payrolls lost 23K jobs versus +83K expected while CPI held at 3.4% headline and 2.5% core. That rate repricing matters because the 90-day correlation between yields and stocks is near its most negative since 1996 helping the Nasdaq rebound nearly 9% from its July low after semiconductors fell 19% in their worst month since 2008. The rally also has real fundamental support with S&P earnings tracking ~28% growth and forward EPS estimates still rising but leadership remains concentrated as $NVDA, $MU and $AAPL drive an outsized share of gains while the Magnificent Seven ETF is up only ~5% this year. The setup sta

🌟🌟🌟Should we chase the high on $Micron Technology(MU)$ or wait for the pullback? Chase the high: The FOMO rocket strategy.   If the AI bottleneck has shifted from compute to storage, Micron isn't overvalued.  It is just getting started.  AI cannot think without memory & Micron holds the key to the physical vault.  If you wait for a pullback that never comes, you will be left behind on Earth watching the stock march to a USD 1.5 trillion valuation. I’m cautiously bullish on the S&P 500 reaching 8,000. The earnings outlook remains strong, especially with AI-driven growth, while inflation appears manageable enough to keep the Fed from turning aggressively hawkish. If earnings continue to deliver, I think the rally can extend even without a major expansion in valuation multiples. That said, I wouldn’t ignore the risks. The IPO wave, midterm-election seasonality and especially any unexpected energy-price spike could quickly change the market’s narrative. I’ll be watching the Jackson Hole speech closely, because a more hawkish Fed would probably be the biggest threat to the 8,000 thesis. For now, I’d stay invested but avoid chasing aggressively at record highs. My preference is to keep exposure through broad ETFs like SPY while maint

Sandisk Surges 14% — Goldman Still Sees Another 44% Upside. What Is Wall Street Pricing In?

$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ has already been one of 2026’s biggest semiconductor winners. Yet after the stock jumped 13.6% on Aug. 13 to US$1,528.11, Goldman Sachs reiterated its Buy rating and US$2,200 price target, implying roughly 44% further upside. That may sound aggressive after a roughly 467% year-to-date rally, but Goldman’s thesis is no longer just about rising NAND prices. The bigger argument is that Sandisk may be evolving from a highly cyclical flash-memory producer into a business with longer earnings visibility, higher margins, stronger shareholder returns, and a new AI-inference opportunity through High Bandwidth Flash (HBF). The key question for traders is simple: Does Sandisk still deserve to be valued like a traditional
Sandisk Surges 14% — Goldman Still Sees Another 44% Upside. What Is Wall Street Pricing In?
TOPShyon: I would choose B. Stay bullish, but wait for a pullback. I like SNDK’s $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ long-term story, especially its multi-year contracts, supply discipline and potential for much higher margins. If these can genuinely reduce NAND cyclicality, I understand why Goldman sees US$2,200 as achievable. However, after a roughly 467% YTD rally and another 13.6% jump in one day, I wouldn’t chase it. Expectations are already extremely high, while the 80% margin target and HBF opportunity still need to be proven. I would rather let the market cool down and see whether the fundamentals continue to catch up with the valuation. For me, US$2,200 is possible, but I don’t need to chase it today. I’d rather wait for a meaningful pullback and add if the long-term thesis remains intact. @Tiger_comments @TigerStars @TigerClub @Capital_Insights

Neoclouds war - CRWV vs NBIS. Winner ?

AI Cloud -Investment Thesis. Is everyone clear about the business models of $CoreWeave, Inc.(CRWV)$ and $NEBIUS(NBIS)$ ? Both specializes in AI cloud-computing and infrastructure providers (often called "neoclouds") focused on renting out high-performance GPU computing power for artificial intelligence training, tuning, and inference workloads. My last post on both was dated 10 Apr 2026. Click here ! for details. It is timely to revisit these stocks since they have just released their latest quarterly earnings. For starters most investors frequently compare them to high growth plays that benefit from surging demand for AI compute res

$SpaceX(SPCX)$ I'm starting to collect SpaceX(SPCX) and open a new position because I feel the stock may have reached its near-term bottom. After the post-IPO hype pushed SpaceX above $225, the stock went through a painful correction, falling to around $105 in early August. The combination of valuation concerns, heavy AI spending, earnings uncertainty and the IPO lock-up expiration created a perfect storm of selling pressure. But after that sharp reset, the risk-reward profile is starting to look much more attractive to me. More importantly, the underlying business is still growing at an impressive pace. SpaceX reported Q2 revenue of about $7.8 billion, up roughly 92% year over year, while Starlink continues to expand rapidly. The market init

🎯Reddit Joins the S&P 500 — But the Real Winner Might Be the Index Itself 📊

Reddit dropped a bombshell after the US market closed Thursday — and by the time most of us woke up, the stock had already popped 11%. But the real story isn't Reddit — it's what index inclusion says about how the whole market works, and why the "boring" S&P 500 ETF in your portfolio might be doing more for you than any stock pick ever will. [Miser] Hey Tigers, Let's Talk About the $Reddit(RDDT)$ Pop $Reddit(RDDT)$ is joining the S&P 500. S&P Dow Jones Indices confirmed the change will take effect before trading opens on August 18, 2026, and the stock jumped over 10% in after-hours trading within minutes of the announcement Thursday evening US time. Reddit is st
🎯Reddit Joins the S&P 500 — But the Real Winner Might Be the Index Itself 📊
TOPShyon: For me, I would rather DCA into the $S&P 500(.SPX)$ than chase $Reddit(RDDT)$ index-inclusion pop. The 11% surge is largely driven by mechanical buying, not a sudden improvement in the company’s fundamentals. These inclusion rallies can be attractive short-term trades, but I wouldn’t treat them as a reliable long-term strategy. I like the S&P 500 because it essentially does the stock-picking for me, continuously replacing weaker companies with stronger ones. The diversification also makes it much easier for me to stay invested through different market cycles without worrying about any single company. I still pick individual AI and tech stocks when I see higher-growth opportunities, but $Vanguard S&P 500 ETF(VOO)$ remains one of my core DCA positions. Individual stocks are my satellite bets for potential outperformance, while the S&P 500 provides the stable foundation for my portfolio. @TigerStars @Tiger_comments @TigerClub @WallStreet_Tiger

With about 4.5 hours to go before last trading day of the week, will BRK.B end off this weekend with a bang, after losing its footing on Thursday falling by -0.60% (or -$3.07). Rule of thumb is traders usually will sell down their positions (or exposures) for fear of the unknown over the long weekend; since Middle East tension remains and that the US navy is set to stay in the Gulf, for much longer than expected - buring cash (expenses) along the way. What do you think ?  BRK.B will end off this week higher than it started ?  I really doubt it.

🎁Reward: S&P 500 at New Highs: Bull Run or Pullback?

The $S&P 500(.SPX)$ just hit another record high! 📈 On August 13, the S&P 500 closed at 7,798.99, marking a new record closing high. U.S. stocks have continued to rally recently, with AI and tech stocks leading the gains. At the same time, cooling inflation has eased some concerns about further rate hikes from the Federal Reserve. But here's the big question— With the market hitting new highs, are we seeing more opportunities, or are risks starting to build? What do you think is next for U.S. stocks? Share your views around the following topics: 💡 Topic 1|How High Can the S&P 500 Go? How much more upside do you think the S&P 500 has this year?8,000? 8,500? 🎁Reward: S&P 500 at New Highs: Bull Run or Pullback?
TOPMHh: #S&P 500 Hits Another Record High! Time to Chase the Rally or Stay Cautious? The S&P 500 has been hitting record highs for a few years now. Considering this bull run has lasted for years against a backdrop of the war in the Middle East does get me worried. Although the inflation numbers has been reassuring, the job market and retail spending has started to cool which makes me think that the bull is due to market optimism on a reduced rate hike probability rather than being supported by actual economy. At this point, I definitely won't chase high as the risk has heightened and potential room for benefit has reduced. I would prefer to wait for a pullback. As an investor with the long term view, I prefer to the dollar cost averaging approach with a preference to add more positions at a lower price and holding off addition of positions when the cost is high in situations like now. In the longer term, I am still optimistic on AI and technology and these sectors will offer outsized returns. As a busy investor, I am opted to just buy ETFs like SMH as I think it is too early to identify sure winners for now and to also minimise the volatility to my portfolio. Another ETF that I like is VTI as it allows me to buy the world's index with minimal homework needed and helps keep me on track with my investment goals with a great diversity of sectors. @SR050321 @HelenJanet @SPOT_ON @LuckyPiggie @DiAngel @Success88 @Kaixiang @Fenger1188 @Universe宇宙 @Wayneqq come join

$Direxion Daily MU Bull 2X Shares(MUU)$ I'm continuing to average down my position in $MUU because I believe the recent correction has pushed the 2x Micron ETF much closer to a potential bottoming zone. The selloff has been painful, especially given MUU's leverage, but I see it more as a valuation reset than a breakdown in the underlying Micron story. Micron recently reported record fiscal Q3 revenue of $41.46 billion and guided for another record $50 billion in fiscal Q4 revenue, showing that the fundamental earnings momentum remains exceptionally strong. The second reason I'm staying bullish is the structural AI-driven demand for memory. HBM, DRAM and NAND remain critical to the AI infrastructure buildout, while Micron has already started hi
